It’s always a proud moment when your garden comes into full bloom and you can stand back and enjoy the results of your creativity and hard work. And there’s a special reward in being able to share your achievements with admiring visitors.

Hospice in the Weald is inviting you to open your gates for a day to gardening enthusiasts and share the delights of your garden and raise money for a great cause at the same time.

Kent County Council gives notice that the following will be closed to through traffic on or after 3rd August 2016 for up to 7 days.

Road Closure Dingleden

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

 

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2) as amended by

The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

 

Kent County Council gives notice that Dingleden, Benenden will be closed to through traffic, on or after 3rd August 2016 for up to 7 Days.

 

The road will be closed between the junctions of Woodcock Lane and Sandhurst Road.

Kent County Council gives notice that the following will be closed to through traffic, on or after 13th July up to 14 days :

 

Hope House Lane will be closed between the junctions of Sandhurst Road and Crouch Lane.  The alternative route is via A268 Queen Street, Sponden Lane, Mill Street, New Pond Road and the B2086 Benenden Road.

Grants are available to young persons to support them in further education or in getting started in working life. Trustees will also give consideration to applications for grants for GAP year projects of educational worth.  Applicants must (on 1 Oct 2016) be aged between 16 and 25, and have been for not less than three years, resident in the Parish of Benenden.
