Waterloo Road , Cranbrook - 3rd September

It will be necessary to close Waterloo Road, Cranbrook from 3rd September 2025 for up to 2 days.

The road will be closed between the junction with A229 Angley Road and The Hill.

The alternative route is via Stone Street, High Street, A229 Angley Road and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 22:00 hrs and 06:00 hrs each day.

This is to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.

Mill Lane, Cranbrook - 3rd September

It will be necessary to close Mill Lane, Cranbrook from 3rd September 2025 for up to 3 days.

The road will be closed from Headcorn Road to Parkwood Lane with local access only.

The alternative route is via Mill lane, Staplehurst Road, Headcorn Road and vice versa.

This is to enable carriageway maintenance to be carried out by Kent County Council.

Dingleden

It will be necessary to close Dingleden, Cranbrook from 5th September 2025 for up to 1 day.

The road will be closed by the property named Ramsden Farm House.

The alternative route is via Dingleden, Sandhurst Lane, Crouch Lane, Standen Street, Woodcock Lane, Dingleden Farm Road and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 07:30 hrs and 16:30 hrs.

This closure is necessary to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.

A229 The CommonSissinghurst - 6th September

Due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks, it will be necessary to close part of A229 The Common, Sissinghurst, from 6th September 2025 with estimated completion by 7th September 2025.

A229 The Common, Sissinghurst, will be closed in the vicinity of property named Mount View. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A229 The Common, A229 Camden Hill, A229 Rocks Hill, A229 Knoxbridge, A229 Cranbrook Road, A229 High Street, A229 Station Road, A229 Maidstone Road, A229 Staplehurst Road, A229 Linton Hill, A229 Linton Road, A229 Loose Road, A274 Sutton Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 North Street, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Mill Bank, A274 North Street, A274 High Street, A274 Station Road, A274 Wheeler Street, A274 Biddenden Road, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 North Street, A262 Tenterden Road, A262 High Street, A262 Sissinghurst Road, A262 Biddenden Road, A262 The Street, A262 Sissinghurst Road, A229 Wilsley Pound, A229 The Common, and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow cabling works to be carried out, works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of A262 Goudhurst Road, Cranbrook, from 15th September 2025 with estimated completion by 16th September 2025.

A262 Goudhurst Road, Cranbrook, will be closed in the vicinity of Flishinghurst Farm, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A262 Goudhurst Road, A229 Wilsley Green, A229 Angley Road, A229 Hartley Road, A229 Hawkhurst Road, A229 Gills Green, A229 Cranbrook Road, A268 High Street, A268 Hawkhurst Road, A21 London Road, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A262 Horsmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Station Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 West Road, A262 The Plain, A262 High Street, A262 Church Road, A262 Cranbrook Road, A262 Goudhurst Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.
